Raast QR payments on every bill, recorded in your books
POS receipts and sale orders carry their own dynamic QR with the exact amount owed. The customer scans it with their banking app, and ERES marks the sale and invoice paid the moment the money arrives — no card machine, no screenshots of transfers, no matching payments by hand.
- Dynamic QR on POS receipts and sale order PDFs
- Sale, invoice and ledger updated automatically
- For businesses in Pakistan, settled to your own bank account

How a sale gets paid
Four steps, and only the first one is the cashier's.
- Step 1
Ring up the sale
Pick Raast QR as the payment method in ERES POS. Walk-in customers are fine — no account needed.
- Step 2
Show or print the QR
ERES creates a QR for that bill's exact amount. It appears on screen and prints on the receipt with “Please scan to pay”.
- Step 3
The customer scans and pays
They open their banking app or wallet, scan, check the amount and confirm. There is nothing to type.
- Step 4
ERES records it
Within seconds the sale and its invoice are marked paid, the payment is posted, and the till hears a chime.
Built for a busy till
A queue doesn't stop for one customer finding their banking app. ERES keeps track of every open QR so the cashier never has to.
- The QR is on the receipt
- Printed on 80 mm thermal rolls and half-sheet receipts alike, so a customer can pay from the bill at the table.
- Paid, announced everywhere
- A “Raast payment received” notice and a sound on any ERES page your POS staff have open, plus an entry in the notification bell.
- No one waits on one customer
- Hide the QR and serve the next person. The Raast button in POS tracks every bill that is still waiting and shows the QR again in one click.
- Expired QR? Make a new one
- Each QR is valid for three hours. If it lapses, ERES issues a fresh one for whatever is still owed.
- Paid once, recorded once
- Payment confirmations are signed by our payments partner and checked before anything is posted. A repeated notice never records a payment twice.
- Know who paid
- The payer's name from their bank shows on the sale, the invoice and the notification.
Not just the counter
Selling on credit to shops, distributors or clients? Switch on the Raast QR for sale orders and every sale order PDF you print, download or send carries a scan-to-pay panel at the top, for whatever is still owed. When the customer pays, the payment lands on the order's invoice the same way a counter sale does.
- QR for the outstanding balance, not the original total
- The printed QR never expires: it opens a payment page with a fresh Raast QR
- One setting in Sale & Purchase, off until you turn it on

Why a dynamic QR, not a sticker on the counter
A static QR works, but it leaves the hard part — matching money to sales — to you.
| Static QR on the counter | Dynamic QR from ERES | |
|---|---|---|
| Amount | The customer types it in | Already in the QR, exact to the paisa |
| Matching to the sale | By hand, from bank alerts or screenshots | Automatic, by bill |
| Invoice and books | Updated later, if someone remembers | Updated the moment it is paid |
| Who paid | Whatever the screenshot shows | Payer name from the bank |
| Wrong amounts | Common | The amount is fixed in the QR |
Your accountant sees it too
A Raast payment isn't a note on a receipt — it's a posted voucher. The invoice shows the payment on its timeline, the receivable clears, and the money sits in a Raast QR collections account until it settles to your bank.
| Event | Debit | Credit |
|---|---|---|
| Raast sale saved | Customer receivable | Sales and sales tax |
| Customer pays the QR | Raast QR collections | Customer receivable |
Getting your shop live
Registration happens inside ERES. You don't open a separate account with a payment company.
- Step 1
Register inside ERES
Settings → Integrations → Raast QR. Enter your business details, owners and the bank account (IBAN) payments should settle to — or pick it from your bank accounts in ERES.
- Step 2
Upload your documents
CNIC, NTN certificate and a bank letter for a sole owner; a partnership deed or SECP papers for firms and companies. Files are stored privately.
- Step 3
We review and submit
The ERES team checks the application and sends it to our payments partner, Safepay, for their checks.
- Step 4
Go live
Once approved, Raast QR appears as a payment method in POS, and the sale order QR can be switched on in settings.
Raast is the State Bank of Pakistan's instant payment system. ERES connects to it through Safepay, our payments partner.
Raast QR payments, answered
What is a Raast QR payment?
Raast is the State Bank of Pakistan's instant payment system. A Raast QR payment lets a customer pay a shop by scanning a QR code with their banking app or mobile wallet; the money moves from their account to the merchant's straight away, any time of day.
What is the difference between a static and a dynamic Raast QR code?
A static QR is one code stuck on the counter: the customer types the amount, and the shop has to match each payment to a sale by hand. A dynamic QR is created for one bill and already carries its exact amount and reference. ERES uses dynamic QR codes, so the customer cannot type the wrong amount and every payment is matched to its sale automatically.
How does ERES know a customer has paid?
When the payment completes, our payments partner Safepay sends ERES a signed confirmation. ERES checks the signature, records the payment against the sale's invoice, marks the sale paid and notifies your team with an on-screen notice, a sound at the till and an entry in the notification bell. Nobody has to refresh or check a bank app.
Which apps can customers pay with?
Any Raast-enabled banking app or mobile wallet in Pakistan. The customer scans the QR from the payment or scan option in their app and confirms the amount.
Can customers pay a sale order or invoice by Raast QR, not just a POS sale?
Yes. Turn on the Raast QR for sale orders in Settings → Sale & Purchase, and every sale order PDF carries a scan-to-pay QR at the top for the amount still owed on its invoice. When the customer pays, ERES records the payment against that invoice and updates the order, exactly as it does at the counter.
Do I need a card machine or a separate payment terminal?
No. At the counter the QR is shown on the ERES POS screen and printed on the receipt by the printer you already use; on sale orders it is part of the PDF. There is no extra hardware.
Can walk-in customers pay with Raast QR?
Yes. A Raast QR sale does not need a named customer account. The sale is saved with an invoice and the QR is issued for its balance.
What happens if the customer doesn't pay straight away?
The sale stays open as unpaid and the cashier carries on. The Raast button in POS lists every bill still waiting for payment with the time left on its QR, and can show the QR again. Each QR is valid for three hours; after that ERES can issue a new one for whatever is still owed.
How are Raast payments recorded in the accounts?
The sale posts revenue and tax against the customer receivable as usual. When the QR is paid, ERES posts a receipt that moves the amount from the receivable to a Raast QR collections account and updates the invoice's paid amount, balance and status. The collected money then settles from our payments partner to your bank account.
What do I need to start accepting Raast QR payments in ERES?
An ERES account, your business details and NTN, the CNICs of the owners, and a business bank account with an IBAN. You register from Settings → Integrations → Raast QR, upload the documents, and ERES and Safepay review the application before Raast QR is switched on for your company.
Is Raast QR available outside Pakistan?
No. Raast is Pakistan's payment system, so Raast QR in ERES is for businesses that sell in Pakistani rupees and settle to a bank account in Pakistan. The rest of ERES works worldwide.
